Job description
Smile IT is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support a key mining client on a drive-in/drive-out basis. The role focuses on critical server, cloud and network infrastructure support. Responsibilities include managing server, virtualisation and cloud environments; administering Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and Microsoft Cloud Services; maintaining networks including switches, firewalls, wireless and VPN; delivering infrastructure projects such as upgrades, migrations and deployments; troubleshooting complex escalations; managing backup and disaster recovery solutions; supporting business continuity; maintaining documentation; and working with client stakeholders while meeting mine site safety requirements.
