Job description
Wallace Hind Selection is recruiting an experienced Service Engineer with a background in machining or precision engineering to install, maintain and support advanced automated machining systems. The role involves working with high-precision manufacturing equipment across customer sites, diagnosing technical issues, delivering maintenance services, and providing customer support. The successful candidate will spend the first six months receiving training, learning on the job and shadowing experienced engineers before working independently. Responsibilities include installing, commissioning and servicing advanced manufacturing systems, diagnosing mechanical, electrical and software issues, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, providing technical support and customer training, ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining customer satisfaction, and collaborating with the wider UK engineering team.
