Job description
Jonathan Lee Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a leading food manufacturing business. The role involves maintaining and improving production machinery, diagnosing mechanical, electrical and PLC faults, carrying out preventative maintenance and supporting engineering operations. The successful candidate will take ownership of engineering activities, provide breakdown response, improve machinery reliability and deputise as Lead Engineer when required. Responsibilities include optimising machinery output, conducting root cause analysis, preventing repeat failures, managing engineering standards, supporting contractors, mentoring junior engineers and apprentices, producing engineering reports and ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene requirements.
