Automation Playwright

Job description Role & responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for backend/API testing Work within an existing automation framework using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) Write and enhance test logic for Java-based (Spring Boot) applications Perform API testing and automation for rule-based systems (MSIM rules automation) Debug, maintain, and enhance automation code by modifying existing frameworks as needed Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables Analyze failures, identify root causes, and improve test coverage and reliability Required skills & exp Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (mandatory) Solid understanding of coding logic, OOP concepts, and debugging Experience with Playwright (JavaScript or TypeScript) for automation Good knowledge of API testing and automation (REST APIs) Understanding of backend systems and Java Spring Boot applications Ability to work within and enhance existing frameworks (not just script creation) Preferred skills Experience transitioning from Selenium to Playwright Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration Exposure to rule-based systems or complex backend workflows
