Job description
Financial Accountant - Global Consumer. £250 - £350 Day Rate PAYE. Start ASAP. 5 Months Contract with potential extension. Working pattern: 2 days in office, West London. Role supporting a globally recognised market-leading business within a high-performing finance team. Responsibilities include supporting month-end close process and financial reporting activities, preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, managing and reconciling complex balance sheet areas, supporting audit requirements and stakeholder queries, working across a high-volume finance environment, supporting IFRS 16 accounting requirements, and partnering with wider finance teams to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance. Requirements: Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent), experience within a large complex organisation, strong technical accounting experience including month-end and statutory reporting, advanced Excel skills, experience with large data sets, audit exposure, US GAAP knowledge advantageous, and strong stakeholder relationship skills.
