Vice President – Continuous Polymerization (Zimmer / DuPont Technology)

Department: Manufacturing / Operations Reporting To: Site Head Experience: 22 –28+ Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering Role Summary- The Vice President – Continuous Polymerization will lead the manufacturing operations of a continuous polymerization plant based on Zimmer and/or DuPont technology. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations while driving operational excellence, process optimization, quality, capacity enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities-- 1-Manufacturing Operations a-Lead end-to-end continuous polymerization plant operations. b-Ensure achievement of production, quality, yield, and cost targets. c-Maximize plant availability, capacity utilization, and OEE. d-Ensure stable and uninterrupted plant operations. 2-Process & Technology a-Drive process optimization using Zimmer/DuPont technology. b-Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. c-Identify and implement debottlenecking and capacity enhancement initiatives. d-Support technology upgrades and process improvements. 3-Operational Excellence a-Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. b-Optimize energy, utilities, raw material consumption, and manufacturing costs. c-Monitor key operational KPIs and implement performance improvement plans. 4-Safety & Compliance a-Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM), HSE, and statutory regulations. b-Lead HAZOP, MOC, risk assessments, and incident investigations. c-Promote a strong safety and quality culture across the organization. 5-Leadership & Stakeholder Management a-Lead cross-functional teams including Production, Process, Maintenance, Utilities, Quality, and Projects. b-Develop high-performing teams through coaching and succession planning. c-Collaborate with senior leadership, licensors, customers, and key stakeholders.
