Job Description – Digital Marketing Manager Position: Digital Marketing Manager Department: Sales & Marketing Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat Industry: Manufacturing / Chemicals / B2B Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Director / Head – Sales & Marketing Job Purpose The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and improving the company’s complete digital marketing activities. The main objective is to strengthen the company’s digital presence, promote products and the Training Center, generate qualified B2B sales leads, and support the Sales team in converting digital enquiries into business. The role will focus on measurable results such as qualified leads, quotations, orders, training registrations, customer acquisition, and revenue, rather than only followers, likes, impressions, or website traffic. Key Responsibilities 1. Digital Marketing Strategy Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual digital marketing plans. Develop campaigns based on priority products, industries, applications, and geographical markets. Coordinate with Sales, Export, Technical, R&D, Training Center, MIS, and Management teams. Prepare marketing calendars for product promotions, exhibitions, training programs, launches, festivals, and company activities. Monitor competitors and market trends. 2. Website Management & SEO Manage and regularly update the company website. Create and update product, application, industry, blog, training, infrastructure, and enquiry pages. Conduct keyword research for domestic and export markets. Optimize website pages, meta titles, descriptions, images, blogs, and internal links. Improve Google rankings for important product and industrial keywords. Monitor website traffic, enquiry forms, keyword rankings, and SEO performance. Coordinate with web developers for technical improvements. 3. Google Ads & Paid Campaigns Plan and manage Google Search, Display, remarketing, and other paid digital campaigns. Create product-specific and market-specific advertising campaigns. Monitor advertising budget, cost per click, cost per lead, conversion rate, and lead quality. Continuously optimize campaigns to improve qualified enquiries and return on advertising spend. 4. Social Media & Content Marketing Manage the company’s presence on: LinkedIn Facebook Instagram YouTube Google Business Profile Other relevant B2B platforms Responsibilities include: Preparing monthly content calendars. Creating product, application, technical, infrastructure, achievement, training, exhibition, recruitment, and company posts. Coordinating graphics, videos, reels, product photography, and factory content. Writing professional captions and marketing content. Monitoring comments, messages, and enquiries. Maintaining consistent company branding. 5. B2B & LinkedIn Lead Generation Identify potential industrial customers, dealers, distributors, OEMs, importers, and decision-makers. Target Purchase Managers, Procurement Heads, Plant Heads, Production Managers, R&D teams, Technical Managers, and Business Owners. Develop LinkedIn and B2B campaigns for lead generation. Build prospect databases for the Sales team. Generate domestic and export business enquiries. 6. Email & WhatsApp Marketing Create segmented databases of customers and prospects. Run campaigns for product promotions, technical information, new products, exhibitions, training programs, customer reactivation, and special announcements. Develop professional email and WhatsApp creatives. Monitor delivery, responses, clicks, enquiries, and conversions. Forward qualified leads to the concerned salesperson. 7. Training Center Promotion The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for promoting the company’s Training Center / Technical Training Programs. Responsibilities include: Prepare a separate marketing plan for Training Center activities. Promote training programs, workshops, seminars, demonstrations, webinars, and technical sessions. Create training brochures, social media posts, videos, WhatsApp creatives, email campaigns, landing pages, and registration forms. Promote training programs through Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Email, WhatsApp, website, and relevant industry groups. Target existing customers, prospective customers, dealers, distributors, technical professionals, production staff, laboratory staff, students, institutes, and industries. Generate training enquiries and registrations. Coordinate with the Training Center team regarding dates, topics, trainers, capacity, fees, and target participants. Maintain a database of participants and prospects. Collect feedback, testimonials, photographs, and videos for future promotions. Track training promotion cost, registrations, attendance, and revenue. 8. New Sales Lead Generation from Digital Marketing Generating new qualified sales leads will be a major responsibility of the Digital Marketing Manager. Lead sources may include: Google Search and Google Ads Website SEO and enquiry forms LinkedIn Facebook and Instagram Email marketing WhatsApp campaigns B2B portals Product landing pages Blogs and technical content YouTube Webinars and exhibitions Training Center enquiries and participants The Digital Marketing Manager will: Generate new B2B enquiries according to priority products and markets. Qualify digital enquiries before forwarding them to Sales. Identify customer requirement, industry, product, application, location, and business potential. Assign each lead to the concerned salesperson. Coordinate with Sales for regular follow-up. Track leads until quotation, order, lost, or future opportunity stage. Measure actual business generated from digital marketing activities. 9. Digital Lead-to-Sales Process Digital Campaign → Enquiry → Lead Qualification → Salesperson Assignment → Customer Contact → Technical Discussion / Sample → Quotation → Follow-up → Order / Lost → Repeat Business Digital marketing responsibility will not end after enquiry generation. The manager must coordinate with Sales and MIS until the lead reaches a final status. 10. Lead MIS & Reporting Maintain a Digital Lead MIS containing: Lead date and source Campaign name Customer/company name Contact person Mobile and email City, state, and country Industry Product required Application Lead quality – Hot / Warm / Cold Assigned salesperson Follow-up status Sample status Quotation status and value Order status and value Lost reason Future opportunity Remarks Prepare monthly reports covering: Website traffic SEO performance Google Ads expenditure Cost per qualified lead Product-wise leads Geography-wise leads Qualified leads generated Quotations generated Orders received Revenue from digital leads Training Center enquiries and registrations Lead-to-order conversion rate Marketing ROI 11. Content Development Coordinate creation of: Product brochures and catalogues Technical brochures Application notes Blogs and case studies Website content Social media posts Corporate presentations Training brochures Videos and reels Exhibition materials Email campaigns All technical claims and confidential information must be approved before publication. 12. Qualification & Experience Qualification: MBA / PGDM Marketing, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc., B.E., or equivalent qualification with Digital Marketing certification. Experience: 3–7 years preferred in Digital Marketing. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in: Manufacturing Chemicals Industrial products Engineering B2B businesses Export-oriented companies 13.
