About the job Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop consumer apps with vertical video feeds, image carousels, style-quiz onboarding, search and refine features, wishlists, and saved content. 2. Build responsive and SEO-friendly consumer web platforms. 3. Manage creator and brand portals with content uploads, brand approval workflows, product catalogues from tagged videos, analytics, ad-credit purchases, and multi-user brand accounts with role-based permissions. 4. Administer admin portals with 2FA, content moderation within 24-hour SLA, sponsored-post oversight, geographic controls, and tunable feed-algorithm weights. 5. Develop backend systems with REST APIs, real-time DMs and notifications, rule-based feed ranking, media pipelines, Stripe ad-credit purchases with refunds, and UTM attribution. Note: 1. Required: 1+ year shipping production web and mobile apps; at least one React Native app live on App Store and Play Store; strong Node.js + MongoDB; hands-on AWS; comfortable owning UI/UX delivery (design is in scope); Stripe experience; async-friendly written communication. Australia timezone overlap preferred. 2. Nice to have: Short-form video/social feed UX, e-commerce attribution, Socket.io at scale, FCM/APNs push flows. 3. Stack: React Native (shared codebase, iOS + Android), React.js web, Node.js + Express, MongoDB, Socket.io, AWS (S3, CloudFront, MediaConvert, Lambda, ECS), Stripe, Checkout, JWT auth, FCM/APNs, SendGrid and MaxMind geolocation.
