Job description
Venus Remedies is hiring a Strategic HR Officer to work directly with the Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer in a high-impact leadership development role. This position is designed as a 24-month accelerated succession program with the objective of preparing the successful candidate to become the Chief People Officer (CPO). The role focuses on building long-term people strategy, leadership development, organizational design, workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, HR governance, industrial relations, culture transformation, employer branding, and HR technology. During the first six months, the candidate will rotate through Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Payroll, Compliance, Learning & Development, Manufacturing HR, Employee Relations, Corporate HR, and Industrial Relations while shadowing senior leadership and conducting culture mapping. Between months 6-12, the candidate will independently manage hiring, manpower planning, performance management, employee engagement, grievance handling, onboarding improvements, competency framework development, and mentoring junior HR professionals. During months 12-18, responsibilities expand to leading enterprise transformation projects including succession planning, HRMS/ERP implementation, performance-linked incentives, workforce optimization, leadership development programs, HR policy redesign, workforce analytics dashboards, and strategic HR initiatives. During the final phase (18-24 months), the candidate will function as the Acting Head of HR by managing enterprise workforce planning, compensation strategy, leadership hiring, culture transformation, governance, industrial relations, board-level HR reporting, succession planning, and organization-wide people strategy before being evaluated for promotion to Chief People Officer. The role requires partnering closely with senior leadership to build scalable HR systems, improve organizational effectiveness, drive employee engagement, maintain statutory compliance, strengthen employer branding, implement digital HR solutions, leverage HR analytics, and establish a high-performance culture aligned with business growth.
