Job description
Roles and Responsibilities: Make technical drawings for manufacturing projects. Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings and accurate 3D mechanical models. Develop assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and machine layouts based on engineering requirements. Coordinate closely with the production team to ensure drawings are practical and manufacturing-friendly. Revise and update drawings based on production feedback and design modifications. Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project specifications. Candidate Profile: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and 3D mechanical design software. Knowledge of Solid Edge, SolidWorks, sheet metal design, assembly design, solid modeling, and machine design is preferred. ITI in Mechanical Draftsman or Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Shop floor or manufacturing experience will be an added advantage. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, maintain documentation, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful project execution.
