Senior Lecturer- Mathematics

The Senior Lecturer in Mathematics is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in mathematics, developing curriculum and academic resources, mentoring students, and contributing to the institutions academic excellence. The role requires strong subject expertise, effective teaching methodologies, leadership in academic activities, and active participation in departmental development. Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Academic Delivery. Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in Mathematics. Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, PUC, or higher secondary students as applicable. Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments. Use innovative and technology-enabled teaching methodologies. Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment. Experience in coaching and mentoring students for competitive examinations such as JEE (Main & Advanced) and NEET. Strong understanding of competitive exam patterns, problem-solving techniques, and shortcut methodologies. Ability to train students in advanced mathematical aptitude and analytical thinking. Experience in handling result-oriented batches and producing successful academic outcomes .Curriculum & Academic Development Develop and update curriculum in alignment with institutional and university standards. Participate in syllabus design and academic planning. Prepare question papers, evaluation schemes, and grading reports. Ensure timely completion of syllabus and academic targets. Student Mentoring Guide and mentor students academically and professionally. Support students in projects, research work, competitions, and seminars. Identify slow learners and provide remedial support. Monitor student attendance and academic progress. Required Qualifications Masters Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. Mathematics) with strong academic performance. Ph.D. in Mathematics preferred.NET/SET qualification preferred where applicable. Minimum 510 years of teaching experience in reputed institutions.
